A “Back to School” Welcome to all the Ames Families!

We are off and running with making lunches, helping with homework and after school activities.  Activities have begun and parents as well as the children are getting used to the “routine” of school.  And with the “routine” comes the satisfaction of volunteering at Ames to enhance your child’s experience in the elementary years.

Your PTO Board is beginning their work on plans for meetings, the big Fund–raiser and the rest of our activities through out the school year.  We enjoyed greeting our Ames Community and meeting everyone at the Ice Cream social and Curriculum Night.  Our goal is to get more people involved with our school and know what is coming up and how you can help.  Notices in the Thursday newsletter will describe certain opportunities in more detail.  We welcome any questions, comments or suggestions.
