WHAT DOES PTO DO?
As a member of PTO, YOU can play a very important role:
· All parents, guardians, teachers and staff are automatically members of PTO.
· There are no dues or membership fees.
· PTO provides hospitality and appreciation for faculty and staff.
· It provides funding for high-quality “extras” including staffing points, technological equipment, unique supplemental programs and family oriented events such as the Talent Show, School Dance and Science Fair.
· Participation shows your student/child that you care about what goes on at their school.
WHY SHOULD YOU COME TO PTO MEETINGS?
- We welcome new people and fresh ideas.
- Your comments/questions are always appreciated.
- Learn where your fundraising money goes.
- Help determine how money is spent.
- It is a great opportunity to meet the teachers, administrators, and parents of other students while being a part of the many programs the PTO sponsors.
- According to schoolandfamily.com - higher grades, better behavior, improved education and increased confidence for the student and parent result from volunteering.
