Room Parents
Looking for a great way to connect with your child’s teacher and classmates and their families? Be a room parent! Room parents serve as a liaison between the school staff, PTO and parents. They organize two classroom parties a year (Halloween and Valentine’s Day) and keep families informed of school events and fundraisers. They begin the year by calling all the parents in their room to offer a “welcome” and help other parents identify ways to get involved in Ames.
